There are five basic pillars of Islam. اسلام کے پانچ بنیادی ارکان ہیں۔
1. Kalma Tayaba. كلمه طيبه
2. Prayer نماز
3. Fasting روزه
4. Alms زكوة
5. Pilgrimage حج
1. Karma Tayaba. كلمه طيبه:
If you want to become a Muslim, the first condition is to say kalma tayaba.
اگر آپ مسلمان بننا چاہتے ہیں تو پہلا اصول یہ ہے کہ کلمہ طیبہ لا اله الله محمد رسولا کہا جائے۔
2. Prayer نماز:
Prayer is the 2nd most important ingredient of Islam. A Muslim is said to be a true Muslim if he arranges a five-time prayer. A Muslim can only be a Muslim if he says Holy words but without Prayer, his real goal as a Muslim is not established. Besides prayer, the other four principles are also equally significant.
نماز اسلام کا دوسرا اہم ترین جزو ہے۔ ایک مسلمان کو سچا مسلمان کہا جاتا ہے اگر وہ پانچ وقت کی نماز کا اہتمام کرے۔ مسلمان صرف اس صورت میں مسلمان ہو سکتا ہے جب وہ کلمہ طیبہ کہے لیکن نماز کے بغیر، بطور مسلمان اس کا اصل مقصد پورہ نہیں ہوتا۔ نماز کے علاوہ دیگر چار اصول بھی اتنے ہی اہم ہیں۔3. Fasting روزه:
if someone is healthy, he will be liable for observing the fasting during the month of Ramadan. There is no excuse for healthy persons, but those who are suffering from some disease or are too old and weak therefore they are given exemption in Islam.
اگر کوئی تندرست ہے تو اس پر ماہ رمضان کے روزے رکھنا فرض ہیں۔ صحت مند افراد کے لیے کوئی عذر نہیں ہے لیکن جو لوگ کسی بیماری میں مبتلا ہیں یا بہت بوڑھے اور کمزور ہیں اس لیے انہیں اسلام میں چھوٹ دی گئی ہے۔A person with fasts will always develop a feeling in his mind that hunger and thirst are difficult to rectify, therefore he creates sympathy in his heart and becomes a useful part of society. The purpose of fasting is to develop endurance among human beings.
روزہ دار کے ذہن میں ہمیشہ یہ احساس پیدا ہوتا ہے کہ بھوک اور پیاس کا تدارک مشکل ہے اس لیے وہ اپنے دل میں ہمدردی پیدا کرتا ہے اور معاشرے کا مفید حصہ بن جاتا ہے۔ روزے کا مقصد انسانوں میں قوت برداشت پیدا کرنا ہے۔A hungry person will feel the pain of hunger, therefore fasting trains each person to develop patience and control over his habits and also have a soft corner for the poor and needy people.
A balance in society is built up due to fasting, therefore a good environment for humanity is nourished.
بھوکا شخص بھوک کی تکلیف محسوس کرے گا، اس لیے روزہ ہر شخص کو صبر اور اپنی عادات پر قابو پانے کی تربیت دیتا ہے اور غریب اور نادار لوگوں کے لیے نرم گوشہ بھی رکھتا ہے۔
روزے کی وجہ سے معاشرے میں توازن قائم ہوتا ہے، لہذا انسانیت کے لیے اچھا ماحول پیدا ہوتا ہے۔4. Alms زكوة:
Similarly, Alms(Zakaat) are also a very significant part of Islamic worship. If a person is rich then he will contribute 2.5% of his yearly earnings to the poor provided it is equal to or more than 52.5 tola silver or 7.5 tolas gold.
اسی طرح زكوة بھی اسلامی عبادات کا بہت اہم حصہ ہے۔ اگر کوئی شخص امیر ہے تو وہ اپنی سالانہ کمائی کا 2.5% غریبوں کو دے گا بشرطیکہ اس کا ثرمایہ 52.5 تولہ چاندی یا 7.5 تولہ سونے کے برابر یا اس سے زیادہ ہو۔
The purpose behind it is to help those who are weak, and unable to run their family affairs independently. Another purpose of this worship is to avoid the accumulation of wealth for some individuals.
اس کے پیچھے مقصد ان لوگوں کی مدد کرنا ہے جو کمزور ہیں، اور اپنے خاندانی معاملات کو آزادانہ طور پر چلانے سے قاصر ہیں۔ اس عبادت کا دوسرا مقصد بیجا مال جمع کرنے سے بچنا بھی ہے۔
Due to the system of Alms, there are so many hospitals running worldwide.
خیرات یا زكوة کے نظام کی وجہ سے دنیا بھر میں بہت سے ہسپتال چل رہے ہیں۔5. Pilgrimage حج:
Another principle of Islam is the pilgrimage(Haj). It is an obligation for the rich person as the purpose behind it is to avoid the selfishness of wealth and may use attraction for the collection of wealth through unfair means.
اسلام کا ایک اور اصول حج ہے۔ یہ امیر شخص کے لیے ایک فرض ہے کیونکہ اس کے پیچھے مقصد دولت کی خود غرضی سے بچنا ہے اور غیر منصفانہ ذرائع سے دولت جمع کرنے کی حوصلہ شکنی بھی کرنا ہے۔
Hajj is an obligatory act of worship. It is an obligation upon a person who has good financial standing, that is, on whom Zakat is obligatory. According to this act of worship, a journey is made to Mecca and Medina, where worship is performed to please Allah. Animal sacrifice is also done.
حج ایک فرض عبادت ہے۔یہ اس شخص پر فرض ہے جو مالی لحاظ سےصاحب حیصیت ہے، یعنی جس پر زکوتہ فرض ہے۔اس عبادت کے مطابق مکہ اور مدینہ کا سفر کیا جاتا ہے جہاں پر اللہ کو راضی کرنی کے لیے عبادات کی جاتی ہیں۔اور جانور کی قربانی بھی کی جاتی ہے۔
After saying Holy words (Kalma tayaba), all kinds of worship must be exactly implemented.
It is recommended Muslims that must be included in their daily routine activity and there is no excuse for any type of negligence, however, there are exceptions
whereas a human is not possible.
مقدس کلمات یعنی کلمہ طیبہ کہنے کے بعد ہر قسم کی عبادت کو بالکل بجا لانا چاہیے۔مسلمانوں کو مشورہ دیا جاتا ہے کہ وہ اپنی روزمرہ کی سرگرمیوں میں ضرور شامل ہوں اور کسی بھی قسم کی کوتاہی کے لیے کوئی عذر نہیں ہے، البتہ اس میں مستثنیات ہیں جب کہ انسان کے لیے یہ ممکن نہیں ہے۔There is also the belief About the day of judgment (قيامت) after death. According to the Muslims believe the world will be destroyed on a particular day in the future and all the dead bodies will again be alive and they will be rewarded or punished according to their deeds during their life in the existing world.
موت کے بعد قیامت کے دن کا عقیدہ بھی ہے۔ مسلمانوں کے نزدیک مستقبل میں ایک خاص دن دنیا تباہ ہو جائے گی اور تمام میتیں دوبارہ زندہ ہو جائیں گی اور انہیں موجودہ دنیا میں ان کی زندگی کے دوران ان کے اعمال کے مطابق جزا یا سزا دی جائے گی۔
A Muslim is a person who believes in one God and five times a regular player is his identification.
مسلمان وہ شخص ہے جو ایک خدا کو مانتا ہے اور پانچ بار باقاعدہ نماز اس کی پہچان ہے۔
